Question 1

Is this AI detection?

Accepted Answer

No. Typed By Me is proof of authorship for human written work, not AI detection. It captures your writing process as it happens and creates a record you can choose to share.

Question 2

What do you capture?

Accepted Answer

Typed By Me records writing signals inside its editor, including typing rhythm, pacing, backspaces and real time editing patterns. It does not use screen recordings or camera feeds.

Question 3

How is my writing kept private?

Accepted Answer

Your writing is private by default. Other people can only see the content and process information you choose to include when you generate and share a proof link.

Question 4

How do I share proof?

Accepted Answer

When you finish writing, you can generate a portable proof URL. Share it on social media, by email, or alongside an application, article or document.

Question 5

Does it work for long documents?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Premium supports full length documents such as resumes, letters, novels and research papers using the same process based proof approach.

Question 6

Do I need an account to start writing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Writing happens inside your Typed By Me account because the proof is captured from your first keystroke. Creating an account is free, and the Free plan costs USD $0 per month, so you can write and generate proof without paying.

Question 7

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Free is USD $0 per month for short form posts. Social is USD $5 per month for unlimited social media posts. Premium is USD $20 per month for full length documents.
